When I read about Sukkie’s upcoming drama, I got excited. I got even more excited when I learned that it will be rewritten by the writer of GIFT OF ROOM NUMBER 7 and produced by GROUP 8…

I was laughing my heart out.. who starred in GIFT OF ROOM NUMBER 7 and was just nominated for BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS? Erm.. PARK SHIN HYE everyone.. kekeke… I don’t wonder anymore… hahaha…

Oh, and Group 8.. the same outfit who produced BOYS OVER FLOWERS… which launched the career of LEE MIN HO… Erm.. who? LEE MIN HO… who’s next drama is THE HEIRS opposite who? PARK SHIN HYE.. kekeke.. oh and isn’t it that Sukkie mentioned a couple of years back that he wants to be friends with him.. kekekek…

One more thing.. Sukkie’s character… DOKGO Ma-Te… sounds like GO DOK MI? Dok Go.. Go Dok.. Dok Go Ma… Go Dok Mi… kekeke..

Plus.. the title.. PRETTY BOY/BEAUTIFUL GUY.. What was Shin Hye’s last drama.. FLOWER BOY Next Door.. in short.. Pretty Boy.. kekekeke…

[NEWS] Jang Keun Suk Will Soon Be A "Beautiful Guy"

A few weeks ago, the Asia Prince Jang Keun Suk has mentioned  via his Naver Line account that he is going to have a new drama soon. Today, his company, Tree J has announced about his upcoming return to every household in Korea through the small screen via the drama “Beautiful Guy/Pretty Boy.”

“Pretty Boy” is set to be a project of Group 8 Productions, the same outfit who gave us “Goong (Princess Hours),” “Boys Over Flowers,” and “Playful (Naughty) Kiss.” It is also based from the Korean Manhwa by Chun Kye Young and will be penned by Yoo Young Ah, the one who gave us the top grossing movie “Gift of Room Number 7.” The drama has yet to be claimed by a broadcast company who will air it but Group 8 is eyeing for it to be shown late this year. It has been said that filming will start late July.

Today, Jang Keun Suk also joked about the fuss about his upcoming drama on his Line account:

In Pretty Boy, Jang Keun Suk will play Dokgo Ma Te, a playboy who will seduce 10 ladies.  This will be his next drama after Love Rain. Here is a synopsis of his upcoming drama:
Dokgo Ma-Te (Jang Keun-Suk) is the most beautiful man in the world. He is also an ambitious man and wants to make a lot money using his beautiful appearance. Dokgo Ma-Te meets Hong Nya-Nya, the ex-daughter-in-law of a rich family. Hong Nya-Nya recognizes Dokgo Ma-Te’s ambitions and becomes his mentor. Hong Nya-Nya then gives Dokgo Ma-Te a mission to seduce 10 different women. The women have all succeeded in different fields and Dokgo Ma-Te is to glean their special abilities.
A strange woman then appears in front of Dokgo Ma-Te. Her name is Kim Bo-Tong, an ordinary girl from poor background. She has a huge crush on Dokgo Ma-Te. Can she make Dokgo Ma-Te love her?
